Recently, I happened to find this video of a then 21-year-old (now 27, judging from the upload's date) getting a visit from Santa.
However, as much as I, and other autistic Santa-believers wanted the conversation about the video to be peaceful, some person who was very anti-autistic, started bashing the person in the video, the autistic people commenting in it, and myself. Needless to say, I was not happy.
Now, you know that I and my fellow members William, Brandon, as well as Video Archivist and admin Daniel are all autistic as well as Santa believers. And we all know one thing: It's one thing to believe in Santa. It's one thing not to believe in Santa. But it's another to bash those who do believe.
You're wondering, "John, where are you going with this?" Simple. Everyone knows the song about Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and the TV Special that goes with it. Both teach a very important lesson, and that is, Never, EVER bash someone for being different from you. And to us, it doesn't matter whether it's an autistic person, or a red-nosed reindeer. Heck, if it weren't for the red nose, Santa would've gotten lost. If it weren't for our autism, we wouldn't be smart. And I guess Rudolph was smart when it came to controlling his nose, as future dentist elf Hermey told him to dim that nose so as not to be seen by the Bumble. Heck, this Wiki, like the GS wiki, welcomes all members, regardless of sexuality, race, gender...or even nose color (yeah, had to put it in there).
Oh, and one more thing. I am going to remind people of the proof that Santa does exist, as I do every year, in case there are those who still have doubts.
